Differences Between AS9100 and AS9100B
AS9100 and AS9100 Rev. B
AS9100 Rev A contained both
ISO9001/2, 1994 and ISO9001:2000. Each of these base-standards were
present until ISO9001/2, 1994 expired in December of 2003. Once this
standard expired, AS9100 was reissued as Rev B and the only difference
was that references to ISO9001/2, 1994 were removed.
In addition, as part of an
AS9100 Rev B certification audit, a numerical scoring of the audit results
is required. This is defined in the AS9101 rev. B checklist document.
