AS9110 Certification & Registration
To more effectively address the needs of the
maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) segment of the aerospace
industry, a complimentary standard was published by the Society of
Automotive Engineers (SAE). While it is based on AS9100:2000,
AS9110 includes specific additional requirements that pertain to
safety, reliability and airworthiness issues related to commercial,
private and military aircraft MRO operations.
As is the case with AS9100, the AS9110 standard is
founded upon ISO 9001:2000 principles and employs a process approach
to managing the organizations quality management system.
