In July 2004, Quality Digest magazine published
the results of its ISO 9001 Survey. This survey was a follow up
to several previous surveys. It focused on why companies get certified,
satisfaction with registrars, and plans that certified organizations
have for the future. The survey also evaluated registrars on performance
indicators such as auditor availability, reputation, size, service,
knowledge, thoroughness, understanding of client business, etc.
Smithers Quality Assessments, Inc. repeated
its superior ranking from 2001 with another "Best-in-Class" ranking.
Smithers exceeded the 99% confidence level in every category, positioning
Smithers in the top 1% of registrars.
