ISO 9001 offers a framework for healthcare quality management by which a hospital can manage all of the required healthcare quality certifications. Step four in the ISO 9001 process involves the diagramming of all processes in order to show the interactions. Diagramming enables the organization to visually evaluate processes from an organization perspective versus jus a department level.
