Certification Process for OHSAS 18001

Certification is not required at this time and SQA's accreditation to this standard is in progress. Step 2 - Form an implementation team with cross-functional membership.

Step 3 - Analyze how safety and health hazards and risks are currently managed and compare the results of this analysis to the standard requirements.

Step 4 – Implementation and internal audit/management review.

Step 5 - Obtain the services of a respected, expert registrar that will ultimately provide the certification.
