Request White Paper
SUMMARY
-
ISO 9001:2000 is the basic
requirement.
-
Additional requirements
have been added specific to the aerospace industry.
-
Exclusions are limited to
requirements within Clause 7, and such exclusions do not
affect the organization’s ability, or responsibility, to
provide product or service that meets customer and
applicable regulatory requirements.
-
Some elements
of the QMS may be executed for a site at a
remote location, such as a corporate office.
Regardless, the functions must be included
in the scope of the QMS, with reference to
where these remote, support functions are
executed.
-
All applicable
elements of AS9100B must be addressed by the
various organizational processes and
included in all certification activities.
