SQA is delighted that several auditors have joined our team in the past few months and we would like to introduce them to you.
Curt Dynda - Strongsville, OH
Curt has worked with Rick McClellan (see below) for the past decade providing consulting, training and auditing services. Prior to that, he spent six years as a lead auditor and unit leader for a third party registrar. Earlier experience includes stints as a field engineer and inspector, conducting on-site certification and performance monitoring for manufactured products quality control programs. His scope of capabilities includes ISO 9001, ISO/TS 16949 and AS9100. A serious sports nut, Curt hold a B.S. in aviation from The Ohio State University.
Melissa Haskins - Hazel Park, MI
With hands-on experience both in industry and with third party registration bodies, Melissa understands the issues clients face during the certification process. She compliments that with several years of consulting and training activity and is conversant with both manufacturing and service organizations. Her credentials include lead auditor status for ISO 9001:2000, ISO/TS 16949:2002 and ISO 14001:2004. Melissa holds a B.A. in English from the University of Michigan.
Neil Hickey - Chicago, IL
Neil has spent seventeen years in the quality field, in industry as well as with consulting and certification organizations. Complementing his ISO 9001 lead auditor status, he is also an aerospace experienced auditor, approved for AS9100 and AS9120. Neil is experienced in developing and implementing ISO 14001 and HACCP management systems and has designed and presented training programs in all of the above areas. Prior to settling in the Midwest, he spent several years working in St. John's, Newfoundland.
Rick McClellan - Akron, OH
A manager with extensive rubber and plastics industry experience, Rick has also successfully helped guide many clients in the development and implementation of quality management systems. Having managed the corporate quality programs for General Tire he spent a couple of years as a lead auditor with third party registrar before establishing his own consulting business. Curt Dynda later joined Rick in that endeavor. Rick is accredited to perform ISO 9001 and ISO/TS 16949 audits and holds a B.S. in accounting from the University of Akron.
Elaine Pascoe - Lake Orion, MI
A former secondary and adult education teacher, Elaine has been consulting and auditing for the past seven years. In addition to maintaining ISO 9001 credentials, she has considerable experience with a diverse range of medical device companies, having server as a consultant and an ISO 13485 lead auditor. Elaine also assists organizations in obtaining cGMP certification. She holds B.A. and M.A. degrees from Wayne State University and resides north of Detroit in Lake Orion, MI.
Ron Tarach - Madison, OH
Ron brings more than a dozen years of aviation and aerospace industry quality management involvement to SQA. He has served in inspection, auditing and management representative roles for manufacturing, aviation support and repair station organizations. As owner of a consulting, training and auditing business, Ron's aerospace client base includes repair stations, distributors and parts manufactures. He is certified to perform ISO 9001, AS9100, and AS9110 audits.
