Smithers is creating two new positions and regionally-focused operating divisions in a move designed to enhance client service and access to the company’s roster of subject matter experts around the world.
The new leadership roles will support the company’s two new operating divisions for Europe and the Americas. The goal of these changes is to provide each region with both the resources and focus needed to support the Smithers of expert brands as well as clients.
We've got an experienced group with a proven track record for producing high quality market intelligence and industry leading events. The new leadership structure allows us to focus on working with our clients wherever they are in the world. This will help our team to better anticipate client needs and, ultimately, serve them more efficiently.
Ciaran Little will serve as Director of Operations for the new Americas division where he will be responsible for conferences, market reports and consulting services for North America and South America. Little is a 16-year veteran at Smithers and will relocate to Akron, Ohio from the company’s UK office in Leatherhead, England where he previously oversaw SMI’s global conference and event product lines.
Stephen Hill has been appointed Director of Operations for the EU division. Hill is another long-time Smithers leader, with 13 years at the company. Most recently, he was Global Sales Director. In his new position, Hill will work from the Leatherhead, UK office and will oversee all SMI business operations throughout the European Union.
Adam Page has been promoted to the new title of Global Director of Reports and Consultancy. Page will continue to lead the Global Reports and Consultancy division based at the Leatherhead, UK office. He has been with Smithers for 15 years.
